7:35 in Montreal

It’s 7:35, the coffee shop is open and I’m thinking of going there to read. My bf was off to work at 6 and I have eaten yogurt and drank a coffee. I have checked out the Facebook Timeline applications, played with Pinterest, Tweeted… I still have papers to organize, only a bit left.

I slept very well last night and I can thank the massotherapist for that. It was very relaxing but as usual it took me until the second half of the massage to really relax. I’m planning on returning for a hot stone massage which I have never had.

This afternoon we go to the doctor’s. I think the weekly visits are starting. Everything is going good, still no contractions, still going to the gym, still active in the house.

Grateful Monday

  • I slept from 6 to 8:30 after my little insomnia.
  • We finally found what will be our changing station. Yes, the changing pad fits on it. I only have to buy the baskets.
  • My boyfriend is an excellent shopper. I sent him to return some baby items to Babies R Us and he came back for what I requested plus a Safety 1st bag containing lots of things for only 20$ on special. I hadn’t requested it but it will be useful and it’s a bargain.
  • I made applesauce a few days ago and it turned out so much better than I expected !
  • I got to spend the day with my bf yesterday bacause some of his friends cancelled their weekly meeting.
  • Under the bed storage. Need I say more ?
  • Last night’s dinner was excellent !
  • I am going for a coffee with C. today.
  • After all the clothes washing I did since Saturday, I don’t need to do any until…tomorrow ? the day after that ?
  • Payments are going to come in until I deliver the baby.

Today, il fait frette. It says -17 but it is felt like -26. Celsius.

The -26 appears when there is wind. We went grocery shopping this morning and it didn’t feel like -26 while we walked there but it did feel a lot colder than -17 coming back. When the grocery finally arrives, I will go back out and go for a coffee. Of course I could drink coffee home but it is more fun to go to a coffee shop. Yes, we ask for delivery for the groceries. If you could see…I’ll take a picture. It snowed. We finally had the snow we were expecting since November.

But the cold is not due to the snow. It is due to the clears skies and sun.

On our front balcony

The sidewalk on the other side of the street. It has been cleared.

The streets are cleared and so are the sidewalks but there is still lots of snow.

So, see ? We can’t use our rolling thingy to go get the groceries. That is why we ask for delivery. And while I was taking the pictures it has arrived which means I can go for that coffee with my book.

I am reading John Green’s « Paper Towns » but I’m more than half through and I was very lucky to obtain Chrystine Brouillet’s « Double Disparition » at the library yesterday so I’m taking that one and keeping « Paper Towns » for tonight in bed.

I will leave the paper bags on the floor, the cat is enjoying running from one end of the apartment and attempting to enter the bags…he has no focus, he just jumps on the bags and makes quite a noise !
